Biography
I am a resource planning manager involved primarily with long term resource planning (including integrated resource plan filing) for NV Energy, a utility that is decarbonizing with a near-zero state carbon goal and experiencing the early pains of a portfolio heavy on solar resources. We are also experiencing the recent problems plaguing the southwestern US (wildfires impacting transmission lines, firm contracts curtailed by CAISO, etc.).
I have been in this role only a short time and was previously an environmental manager here at NV Energy, managing permitting and compliance for fossil power plants and other assets.
