Biography
I am interested in how the Earth-human system will change in the future on a long-term time scale. We are developing a model for analyzing the interaction between the Earth system and human activity. Especially, we are analyzing the interaction of the Earth system with changes in water management, crop growth, and land use. We are also studying the effects of permafrost thawing on the Earth system.
