Biography
Taj Schottland is the Senior Program Manager on The Trust for Public Land's national climate team. He has over 10 years of professional experience working as an adaptation and resilience specialist, project manager, and restoration ecologist. In his current role, he works with Trust for Public Land field staff and diverse cross-sector partnerships across the country to drive systems level change in how cities invest in green infrastructure, parks, and open space. Prior to joining The Trust for Public Land, he worked for The National Wildlife Federation where he managed local and regional coastal resilience projects that took a holistic and integrated approach to protecting human communities, priority habitats, and wildlife from climate-driven threats. Prior to that, Mr. Schottland worked for Cardno (a global environmental consulting firm) where he specialized in Natural Resource Damage Assessments and habitat restoration. Mr. Schottland holds a B.A. in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic.
