Biography
I develop, couple, and use the LPJ-GUESS vegetation model—both by itself and as part of the LandSyMM integrated model—to explore the future of the human-natural system. Previous and current work includes quantifying the impact of projected land-use change on ecosystem services, investigating the uncertainty in land-use projections associated with choice of crop model, and testing the capacity of forest-based mitigation to contribute to climate goals.
