Biography
My research focuses on human-environment interactions, primarily with respect to understanding the carbon and climate consequences of land use/cover change and land management. I use data integration and modeling approaches at local to global scales to assess land-based carbon mitigation strategies, evaluate the biophysical and biogeochemical effects of land use on climate, and advance our understanding of human-earth system feedbacks.
