Biography
Dr. Matthew Reagan is a research scientist in the Earth Sciences Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Recent work includes assessments of the response of hydrates to ocean temperature changes, simulating the behavior of hydrate-bearing systems under commercial gas production, development of fast parameteric thermodynamic relationships to describe mixed CH4-CO2 hydrates, integrating uncertainty into simulations of chemical networks, maintaining the RealGasEOS module of TOUGH+. He has earned a B.Sc. from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Chemical Engineering.
