Biography
Dr. Hugh-Jones was with the department since 1978 until his retirement in 2005. In addition to his work as a faculty member, he was the Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems for Public Health until June 2004, and subsequently became Deputy Director. His work included work on the contents of the World Anthrax Data Site, a resource that provides anthrax occurrence data for nearly 200 countries.
